All right wenches.
I'm coming home for thanksgiving and I'd really like to see peoples again. Since I haven't needed to go home for orthodonture I've been around much less often. Sadface.
I'll be home late tomorrow night and be leaving early Sunday. Thus, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday are the best times to do things.
Other times I'm coming back: Winter break (for as little as 12/20-1/2), and then it might not be until June after Spring quarter.
If you have any desire to arranging something, comment, or IM me. It'd be nice to hang out with girls for a change. (seriously, what do you expect from an anime club community? FML.)

...BRAND NEW CELL PHONE!(which, regrettably for this joke, isn't a razor)
I just got it in the mail today, and it's having it's first charge now.
In the meantime, I need your phone numbers again because my old SIM card is... irreparable. (I also haven't needed to memorize a phone number in a while, so I've definitely forgotten yours) In addition, post what you'd like your ringtone to be, since I think I can use my own .mp3 collection on this sucker.(If I don't have the song, I will most definitely be able to find it.)

I'm not sure what's going on with this video. Early 80's environmentalist/anti-war music video (trust me, somehow it's more entertaining than educational), complete with jumpsuits, a pile of trashed cars, a fabulous shota and his choir, and oh so many wide shots? I think I'll just leave it here.
Edit: Apparently Youtube's "Recommended Video" algorithm thinks I'm into black women today (and for some reason, only today), because this video also came up. It's possible that she's the first female rapper I've seen that could possibly bulldog you into the fetal position. Except well, the song is about "Talk to the hand ass."
Edit Edit: Actually, Tina Turner and some Universal Music Group Generic Hip Hop Thing (tm) also came up. Is Youtube is trying to get me to stop being a weaboo? Nevermind, this is still on there.

For those who don't care, this is an entry about costumes and animu nerddom, so skip over if you wish.
Anywho, on to the task at hand. I have an important announcement to make, especially if you are in either of my masquerade groups.
As a preface, there are a few things on my mind, including money issues, schoolwork issues, and stress-in-general issues. I don't feel it's necessary to spill the specifics, but the effects of Fanime on the above 3 problems are pretty significant.
Accordingly, I'm thinking that I'm not going to make any new costumes for Fanime next year. In addition, the possibility of even going to Fanime is somewhat questionable (I will likely subject to peer pressure, but I don't want to express any guarantees).
What could this mean?
- "New" costumes mean anything that I would have to go out and buy all new stuff for, and make.
- I might try and make costumes that I bought stuff for a while ago and haven't gotten around to making yet (there are a few of these, which would save me money and closet space).
- As you might expect, this would make masquerade participation difficult. I can practice performance aspects to the best of my ability. I will likely not be able to make my costume. If someone desperately wanted me in their skit, they would have to make it for me. In that case, I would pay for materials, but only after the costume is complete. I'm not paying for materials with no finished product guarantee. This is for my security.
- If any group needs help with audio mixing or other background-skit help/advice, I'm happy to dish it out.
- No, I'm not gonna secretly steal all your ideas and make my own skit. Really.
So this is all still sortof tentative, I only thought of this idea in the last week. But it seems like continuing on like usual will not be the best thing.
So, comments questions whatever would be nice. I'd like to justify a decision one way or the other.
